Treatment of a canal
Endodontics (root canal treatment): There are situations requiring root canal treatment, such as a deep cavity reaching the dental pulp, an irritated pulp following a trauma, a tooth requiring additional support (a pivot). The treatment involves several steps: devitalizing the tooth by removing the damaged pulp, cleaning, disinfecting, then filling the tooth with a cement as well as a material that looks like rubber.
